Five Discovery is a biotechnology company developing non-hallucinogenic neuroplastogens — psychedelic-inspired compounds that promote the repair and stabilization of dysfunctional brain circuits, without producing a psychedelic experience. Our approach draws on the neuroscience of psychedelic molecules to engineer therapeutics optimized purely for neurological benefit.
Our lead program targets Levodopa-Induced Dyskinesia, a common and debilitating motor complication in medicated Parkinson’s patients for which no neuroplasticity-based treatment currently exists. Our longer-term vision extends to Parkinson’s disease itself and other neurodegenerative conditions.
